Lunch and Dinner Menus

The Yankee Rebel Tavern is well-known for its attentive staff, warm atmosphere and delicious cuisine. Daily soup, salad and entree specials are favorites of island locals as well as return visitors to Mackinac.

Lunchtime at the Yankee Rebel is a nice get away from the crowds of Main Street. Come in and treat yourself to a Tuscany Caesar Salad or a Chicken & Penne Pasta Salad. Or try one of our many interesting sandwiches, such as Pot Roast on Wheat with melted Cheddar, whole grain mustard and caramelized onions; or a Chicken Salad Wrap prepared with Michigan Cherries, tomato, lettuce on tomato basil flatbread; or have the Breakfast Omelet served with fried potatoes, crisp hickory bacon and toast; for any Vegetarians choose either the Portabella Sandwich or the Grilled Rye Garden Sandwich. Plus we have a full Children’s menu including Yankee Doodle’s Noodles, Trout Sticks or Lil’ Rebel Burger all served with applesauce, fries and a Popsicle!

Start your evening meal by choosing from a wide variety of appetizers such as Cajun Steak Bites, Grilled Portabella Mushroom or an Artisan Cheese Plate. Enjoy a glass of wine from our large Wines by the Glass selection or a Wine Flight offering of either three reds or three whites and explore new wines.

Our dinner entrees range from favorites such as our Famous Yankee Pot Roast, Pistachio Crusted Michigan Whitefish and Black Angus Filets to gourmet specialties of Shrimp & Mussels Diablo, Maui Yellowfin Tuna or a Vegetarian offering such as our Grilled Vegetable Plate. We also offer a numerous Entrée Salad selections such as our Award Winning Summer Walnut Salad or the Grilled Salmon Salad with Mandarin Oranges, Avocado and slivered Almonds.

Complete your meal with a choice from our wonderful selection of desserts.

For those not quite so hungry we offer a lighter fare menu with selections of an Open Face Prime Rib sandwich, Turkey Bacon Club Wrap or Grilled Veggie Sandwich.

Our Little Soldiers children's selections offer some fun choices including Yankee Doodle’s Noodles, Trout Sticks or Lil’ Rebel Burger all served with vegetables, fries and a Popsicle!

Our beverage menus offer a large variety of beers and wine plus a full line of liquor. We often feature special options when they become available.
